There are many ways to look after yourself spiritually: self care can be preventative and also help with recovery after a negative spiritual episode.

Keep positive

Negative energy can build up in the event of personal, financial, family or other problems; this can cause spiritual difficulties.

Cleansing

Some people like to use sage (smudging) or you can visualise your home or personal space filled with light or washed through with water.

Protection

Protect yourself by visualising a bubble of light around you. Instead of a bubble you could visualise a cloak, mirrors (facing outwards) or a suit of armour - whatever is easier for you

Grounding

Grounding helps to keep you earthed so you are not wide open spiritually. You can imagine you are a tree with deep roots connecting you to the earth. If that's difficult just feel your feet firmly connected to the floor.
